Azerbaijani FM meets with his Qatari counterpart

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, as part of his working visit to the State of Qatar, APA reports.
It was underscored that the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), hosted by Azerbaijan this year, created a favorable opportunity for new areas of cooperation.
The parties also drew attention to the importance of cooperation within the framework of international organizations and expressed confidence that partnership relations will be further strengthened in all areas.
At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on other topical issues and topics of mutual interest.
