President Ilham Aliyev received UN Assistant Secretary-General for Rule of Law and Security Institutions-UPDATED

Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, received Alexander Zuev, UN Assistant Secretary-General for Rule of Law and Security Institutions in the Department of Peacekeeping Operations, APA reports.

The meeting underscored the significance of the 6th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku as a platform for discussing pertinent global issues and exchanging ideas.

The participation of numerous prominent delegates from various countries, as well as representatives from the UN and other international organizations, including their various bodies, was viewed as a sign of global interest in the event.

They noted with satisfaction the effective cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UN, including its various agencies.

During the conversation, they underlined Azerbaijan’s hosting of COP29 and the country's close collaboration with the UN in this context.
