Rumen Radev: Bulgaria-Azerbaijan cooperation contributes to Europe's energy security

"Firstly, thank you for the warm hospitality," President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev said during a joint statement to the press following an expanded meeting with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.

Rumen Radev said that we are friends and we have mutually beneficial cooperation: "We are meeting for the fourth time in the last period. Our political dialogue at the highest level creates a good base. This cooperation contributes to Europe's energy security. Azerbaijan has become an important decisive partner for Bulgaria in the field of energy. In the fall of 2023, we participated in an event on using the Greek-Bulgarian gas network. This serves to diversify energy sources in Europe."
