In order to speed up the process of the Great Return after the Patriotic War and anti-terrorism operations, the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan perform the assigned tasks professionally, the Ministry told APA.
The process of detecting and neutralizing war remnants and danger sources is being continued without interruption. The task of cleaning the region from weapons and explosives is one of the main direction of activities of the employees of the internal affairs bodies involved in the service.
On May 4-10, as a result of measures implemented by the police, 38 automatic weapons, 8 pistols, 14 rifles, 1 grenade launcher, 23 grenades, 23 lighters, 136 cartridge combs, , 21,040 cartridges of various calibers, 5 TNTs, 27 bayonets and other ammunition were found and seized in Khankandi city, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan told APA.
5 automatic weapons, 18 cartridge combs and 290 cartridges of different calibers were found and taken from the territory of Aghdara district.
