The unemployment rate in Azerbaijan remained stable in January, standing at 5.3 percent, according to the latest data from the State Statistics Committee, Azernews reports. In January, the economically active population totaled 5.31 million people, with 5.03 million of them employed. The number of unemployed individuals was 282.7 thousand, reflecting a slight increase from 282.3 thousand in the previous month.
