Türkiye’s Vatan party holds protest in front of US embassy over Trump’s statements

Türkiye’s Vatan party held a protest in front of the US Embassy in Ankara following US President Donald Trump’s statement about his intention to remove Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, Report informs via RIA Novosti.

“US’s plans on Gaza are part of a larger project to create Greater Kurdistan. If we are friends of Palestine, we should take concrete steps,” the deputy chairman of the party Utku Reyhan said in his address.

The politician called for the closure of NATO military bases on Turkish territory.

Earlier, Trump declared that the US would take control of the Gaza Strip and be responsible for reconstruction efforts in the region, as well as turn it into a “Middle East Riviera” for the whole world.

Additionally, the American leader stated that the current Gaza Strip should be demolished, and its residents should permanently relocate to other countries, including Jordan and Egypt.
