The opposition is doing everything to drag Armenia into war, the President of the Armenian Parliament, Alen Simonyan, said, Olaylar informs via News.am.

He stressed: "You bring peacekeepers, and then you want to say that 'the former government created such a situation, and we cannot ensure our security alone'."

Alen Simonyan accused the opposition of trying to change the government: "You want to create a situation where you can influence the change of government."

According to him, some are ready to sell themselves for the sake of a change of power: "Perhaps not only their lives but also everything that can be sold."

The President of the Parliament accused the opposition of including Armenia in the Russia-Belarus alliance. He also emphasized that the Armenian people understand what is happening.

He also noted that the former government and the current opposition falsified the election and robbed the army.
