The candidacies of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Iran for the presidency of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly have been approved, said Rizvan Nabiyev, the head of Azerbaijan's delegation to the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, at the 15th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly held in Baku, under Azerbaijan's chairmanship, APA reports.
He noted that Bahrain will chair the organization starting from 2026.
