Last year, the number of fake domains created in the name of state entities reached 100, said Tural Mammadov, Head of the Department of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security, during his speech at the V Summit Meeting of IT Heads of State Institutions, APA-Economics reports.
He noted that, at the same time, a fake domain named govaz.am, targeting state entity domains, was detected a month ago: "That domain has also been blocked by us."
Tural Mammadov mentioned that last year, several employees of state entities did not adhere to cybersecurity hygiene. As a result, 134 employees from 32 state institutions became victims of hacker attacks.
