Tashkent hosted IV meeting of Council of Banking Associations of Turkic States

On May 7, the fourth meeting of the Council of Banking Associations of Turkic States was held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, APA-Economics reports.
The management team of the Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA) represented Azerbaijan at the meeting.
A conference on Financial Trends was also organized for the meeting by the host, the Association of Banks of Uzbekistan.
Alpaslan Çakar, the Chairman of the Board of the Banks Association of Türkiye, the CEO And Board Member Of Ziraat Bank as the president of the council, Zakir Nuriyev, President of the Azerbaijan Banks Association, as well as the leaders of the member countries of the Council, made speeches at the conference titled Financial Trends: Fintech and Banks, Anti-fraud, Popularization of Islamic Banking.
