In accordance with the preparatory plan for 2025, events were held in the Azerbaijani Army in connection with the start of the new academic year, APA reports citing the Ministry of Defense.
Firstly, a moment of silence was observed for memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and those who martyred for the independence, territorial integrity, and sovereignty of Azerbaijan. The State Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed with the accompaniment of the Military Orchestra, and the battle flag was brought to the parade ground.
During the events, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense conveyed the orders and requirements regarding maintaining a high level of combat readiness of the troops, selecting new teaching methods and techniques, as well as other matters to the personnel. The importance of increasing the quality and intensity of training and exercises during the new academic year, as well as the development of modern tactical methods and maintaining a high level of combat readiness, was emphasized.
Afterwards, the personnel had a ceremonial march in front of the tribune.
At the end, in connection with the start of the new academic year, inspections have been held at military units, and material and educational bases, training grounds, combat equipment and weapons, personnel supplies, as well as implementation of the requirements of guiding and other regulatory documents, the availability and application of training materials have been checked.
