Russian law enforcement agencies act regardless of foreigners' nationality and citizenship entering country - MFA

Moscow is revising all the appeals from its Central Asian counterparts regarding migration issues and is providing clarity on the actions taken by Russian law enforcement agencies, said Mikhail Galuzin, the Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

"We are proceeding from the premise that our partners, first and foremost, understand our approaches to the regulation of migration aimed at ensuring the safety of both the migrants themselves and Russian citizens. We, in turn, carefully consider all the appeals from our counterparts regarding the problems in this area," emphasized the Russian diplomat.

Galuzin has also noted that Moscow is trying to provide detailed explanations regarding the actions taken by Russian law enforcement agencies: "We emphasize that our law enforcement agencies act regardless of the nationality and citizenship of foreigners entering our country."
