President Ilham Aliyev has signed a Decree approving the "Agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Türkiye", APA reports.
The Decree reads:
"Guided by paragraph 17 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I decide:
1. To approve the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Türkiye on Cooperation in the Field of Tourism", signed in Baku on November 15, 2024.
2. After the Agreement specified in Part 1 of this Decree enters into force, the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall ensure the implementation of its provisions.
3. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall send a notification to the Government of the Republic of Türkiye on the completion of the internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of the Agreement."
