The heads of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Transport, Energy, and Customs Services of Russia, Iran, and Azerbaijan will meet soon to discuss the progress of the construction of the Rasht-Astara railway branch of the North-South international transport corridor, Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali said, APA-Economics reports.
"We plan to hold a trilateral meeting in the near future with the participation of the Foreign Ministers, Transport Ministers, Energy Ministers and Customs Service Heads of Iran, Russia and Azerbaijan," the ambassador noted.
According to him, the agreement on the implementation of this project is planned to be signed by March 2025.
